Glass lacquering

Design objective

The objective of PRAD lacquering is to color the glass or modify its original appearance. Thanks to lacquering, it is possible to reproduce an almost unlimited range of colors in all finishes – glossy, satin or matte, as well as smooth, soft, grainy effects, special effects, mother of pearl, iridescent, metallic, partials, gradations, etc.

Production method

PRAD lacquering consists by applying a fine spray of organic or conventional varnish followed by polymerization in a 200°C oven.
Application and baking are done on a dust-free automated line where each useful parameter is strictly controlled in order to ensure the homogeneity of the colors and appearances across the production runs.

Production runs

The flexibility and the adaptability of the lacquering equipment make it possible to deal with large and small production runs from 2 million to 500 units.

Item sizes

From the 100 or 200 ml sales models to the homothetic sample or drawn glass tube, PRAD lacquering is suitable for all the models of a product line, regardless of the manufacturer or the manufacturing technique.
