Screen printing and pad printing
Design objective
Screen printing and pad printing are two additional decorating techniques that make is possible to produce patterns or texts on any raw, lacquered or metalized component.
Due to its gloss, fineness or thickness characteristics, screen printing is particularly enhancing.
PRAD has also mastered the raised image screen printing technology, which amplifies thickness effects.
Pad printing can reproduce the same decorations even in areas considered “non-decoratable”, convex or hollow parts, for example.
Production method
The organic inks used by PRAD in screen printing or pad printing are routinely overpolymerized to ensure excellent mechanical and chemical resistance.
More and more products are being developed from these organic inks due to their technical performance and their low environmental impact.
Production runs
The PRAD screen printing and pad printing equipment was designed for use with any production run, small or large, from 500 to 2,000,000 units.
Item sizes
From 100 or 200 ml sales models to homothetic samples, screen printing and pad printing are suitable for all the models of a product line.
